Lee’s background is in sales and training, but her passion is in motivating, problem solving and supporting her clients in their transition to personal wellness.
Lee obtained her real estate license in 1985 at the age of 21 and proceeded to build a succesful business –several years later she was given the opportunity to become a trainer for the largest real estate company in the Washington Metropolitan. She created, wrote and delivered sales, motivational and finance training for new agents. After being recruited to be a Regional Training Director for another national firm, Lee expanded her training capabilities to include seasoned agent and management training as well as developing a recruitment program and retention program. “It was during that experience that I realized that my true passion and gift was in helping others to believe in themselves and succeed and I started developing my own philosophies on what drives that success”
“As the single parent of a 6 year-old boy, and a very busy real estate agent and trainer, my life started to unravel -I was really struggling to have control of my schedule and maintain my energy level.” After much focus on creating more balance in her life another opportunity was presented, a Directorship at a local production firm that would allow more time at home and lots of flexiblity to pursue other passions. “It was at this juncture that it truly hit home how difficult it can be for most of us to have successful careers and also nurture the relationships that are so important to us -and how if you focus on the true objectives, the opportunities and possiblites are endless!”
Another milestone in Lee’s evolution toward becoming a coach was the discovery that she had an allergy to gluten. “Wow! I had no idea what to do –I had to learn all over again how to shop, how to eat and how to cook for my family” Truly feeling “well” for the first time in her life how Lee developed her passion for nutrition and holistic wellness and her mission became to coach people who have any kind of food limitations on how to work the limitations into their lives with minimal stress. “It’s all about eductation, then planning and systems!”
Lee is a Certified Professional Coach, through the International Coach Academy (2010), a member of the International Coaching Federation and currently working on her ICF ACC accreditation. She is currently enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and plans to graduate in June, 2012.
Her clients are generally women who are simply trying to get unstuck in their lives and need some non-judgemental support on their way back to wellness and joy. She is also very talented in helping small business entrepreneurs and solo-preneurs start businesses or take their businesses to the next level. “If our working life isn’t in alignment with our values and spirit, we won’t be happy – period!”
You have a natural talent for taking an overwelming list of options and pairing it down into a managable list of action items. I can’t believe how much I’ve accomplished in the last 2 weeks (after our call) after months of inactivity due to lack of direction. It really feels great. Thank you!
